Cousins! The Hollywood Walk of Fame has officially begun its rollout for the new class of honorees set to receive their flowers in 2025 and we’ve spotted more than a few familiar faces!
Walk of Fame Selection Panel of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce members Niecy Nash, Jimmy Jam, and Joe Mantega announced in June that Fantasia, Nia Long, Busta Rhymes, and the late Prince would be taking their rightful spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Each celebrity was chosen from a variant of categories ranging from film, television, music, live performance, radio, and sports entertainment.
The Isley Brothers, Misty Copeland, Courtney B. Vance, and Sherri Shepherd have also been named a part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025.
Following the major annoucemenr both Nia and Fantasia took to social media in excitement.
“My mother used to tell me when I was a little girl I would have a star on the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME one day. I never really believed it was possible. Life was hard back then. Today a dream came true for both of us,” Nia wrote on Twitter (X)

“The Walk of Fame has made history again! As Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” stated Peter Roth, Chairman. “The committee and I cannot wait to see our honorees becoming part of this world-famous walkway!”
According to the Walk of Fame website an official date for the induction ceremony have not been scheduled as of yet. Noting that recipients have at least two years to schedule star ceremonies from the date of selection before they ultimately expire.
