Cousins! The word is out that Tommy Egan and the Starz network have officially decided to cancel Christmas on Power Book IV: Force!
The announcement was made Thursday evening on social media as actor Joseph Sikora explained that he alongside the series’ writers had decided in efforts of staying true to the authenticity of storytelling, it makes sense to wrap up Tommy’s time in Chicago.
“When Gary Lennon and the other writers and I were mapping out our third season, we saw that we were telling a complete story, and this was the perfect opportunity to stay true to our artistic vision and make this the final chapter in Tommy’s journey in Chicago,” said Joseph.
“We’re just getting warmed up, and I can’t wait to show you what we have planned next.”
Joseph ended the video with a line that had fans fishing for answers as he stated, “Ghosts never die, and power never ends.”
Power Book IV: Force was renewed for its third season in December 2023, after Season 2 wrapped up.
“It is bittersweet to write the fulfilling ending of this chapter in Tommy’s journey, a character myself and fans have grown to love over the past decade,” said Gary Lennon in a statement to Deadline.
“Season 3 will question everything we thought we knew of Tommy’s world and I promise you it will not disappoint! Although this may be the end of the road for Force, there is much more expansive, compelling storytelling for the characters within the Power Universe.”
