Meagan Good’s Sister La’Myia Good Says She Is Disgusted With The Industry After She Was Snubbed At This Year’s Naacp Image Awards!

Cousins, Meagan Good‘s sister Lamyia Good called out the entire entertainment industry over the weekend as the actress went home empty-handed after attending the Naacp Image Awards!

 “Meagan doesn’t need the awards, it’s something she needs for her heart because she knows she is ten toes down and she knows exactly of the gifts that God has given her… but I’M SICK of not seeing my sister get the respect she deserves in this game.” 

She continued, “she doesn’t get the credit she deserves in the industry. I am so sick of it. I am so motherf***ing sick of it. This industry owes her so many awards. Good thing she don’t give a f**k about that. But I am so sick of seeing this industry not give her her props. And namely, I’m tired of us not giving her her props. Because she has held the community down in multiple ways. Not just on-screen, but in her community.”  

Meagan received three nominations this year for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series” for ‘Harlem’ and “Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Limited–Series or Dramatic Special” for ‘Buying Back My Daughter’.

La’Myia continued, “She mentors young women. She’s a phenomenal actress. She has given so much to the industry over so many years. She’s helped other people accomplish their goals in this industry. She’s paved the way for other actors, producers, all kinds of people. I don’t understand what [more] they want from her. I’m getting sick of it. I’m disgusted. I just don’t understand it.”
