Cousins! DaniLeigh made a court appearance earlier this monthwhere she learned her fate following a 2023 DUI charge in Miami!
In case you’re unfamiliar, the singer was arrested for a DUI hit and run near Miami Beach last year as she was seen weaving in and out of lanes. The singer is said to have hit someone who was driving a motorized scooter and dragged them for nearly a block before witnesses alerted local authorities.
DaniLeigh was pulled over by arriving officers and was given a variety of sobriety tests. The 29-year-old didn’t pass any of the tests provided and was said to have been over twice the legal limit. She was later released on a $1K bail following her arrest, reports Hot New Hip Hop.
According to Miami Beach Police, DaniLeigh received 5 years probation on all four charges including driving under the influence, DUI damage to property, and a felony charge for bodily injury.
The victim was taken to a local hospital victim endured a kidney laceration as well as a fractured spine. He has since filed a civil suit against Dani which is currently pending.
