Mo’Nique Responds To Tiffany Haddish’s GQ Comments Regarding Her Husband “If You Had One Like Mine You May Not Sit In Positions You Can’t Explain The Next Day”

Cousins! Mo’Nique is the latest celebrity to take a seat and tell her story at Club Shay Shay and let’s just say auntie left no question unanswered.

Within the now viral interview, Mo’Nique took the time out to address statements made in a 2018 GQ interview by Tiffany Haddish regarding her husband Sidney Hicks.

“When I saw that, it’s like Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs. If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could have been grooming a child.”

Tiffany had previously discussed Mo’Nique’s Netflix boycott. “My business run different than her business. I don’t live her life. I don’t have that husband of hers.”

She continued,”I don’t live her life. I don’t have that husband of hers. I’m looking at how [Netflix has] opened up so many opportunities for black females and comedy.

“When my people are dying, that’s when you gonna catch me protesting. I’m not gonna protest because somebody got offered not the amount of money they wanted to get offered. If you don’t like what they’re offering you, just no longer do business with them.

“If I protest Netflix what about all the black shows that are on there? What about all the other actors that are working on there? All the Indians, the Hispanics, the Asians”

As we previously reported Tiffany was arrested two times in the last two years for DUIs. She was also named in a lawsuit alongside Aries Spears following allegations of battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor in 2022.
