Kevin Hart Sues Tasha K And His Former Assistant For Defamation And Extortion!

Cousins! Youtuber Tasha K has found herself in some legal troubles one mo’gain following news that she’s been sued by another big-name celebrity upon claims of defamation and extortion!

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Kevin Hart has taken legal action against Tasha following a recently aired sit-down with his former assistant Miesha Shakes. The issued suit details that the interview was recorded in November which includes, “false and defamatory statements regarding Hart.”

Kevin claims that upon completion of the interview, an associate of Tasha’s reached out to his team with threats to “publish the interview unless Hart paid a ransom of $250,000.”

The 44-year-old says that the associate threatened that the stories surrounding his marriage and business ventures within the interview would be damaging to his reputation.

Tasha is said to have posted a preview of the interview in which she and Miesha “touted the supposedly salacious and damaging nature” of the interview as a “threat to Hart” for not paying the “ransom,” reads the lawsuit.

“The teaser included a statement from Kebe at the 2:06 mark of the video specifically warning that ‘when you don’t pay, we have to get money by any means necessary.”

It has been indicated that the actor and comedian contacted the police and forwarded both Tasha and Miesha a cease and desist letter, while noting that the former employee had previously signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement as well as a Confidentiality Agreement while working for Kevin from 2017 through 2020, reports Page Six.

Within the newly released interview, Miesha reflected on several legal controversies involving Kevin. She issued claims that the father of four is a constant cheater in his marriage with a gambling problem.

Kevin is currently suing both women for extortion and invasion of privacy. He is also suing Miesha for breach of contract including defamation, reports Page Six.

The Philadelphia native is also suing Tasha upon claims of intentional interference with contractual relations.

Despite news of the forwarded suit, Tasha is said to have reposted her interview with Miesha in her Instagram Story.
