Cousins, California rapper The Game shared a heartwarming moment with his daughter 12 recently as he taught her a good old fashion lesson in working smarter than harder!
While appearing on Instagram live alongside his daughter California ‘Cali’ Dream, The Game surprised the 12-year-old with a thousand-dollar shopping spree at ULTA.
“She has no idea I’m about to let her run in ULTA and spend $1,000, but you only got two minutes.”
As Cali jumped for joy over the surprise shopping spree, The Game-born Jayceon Terrell Taylor threw her for a loophole in letting her know she would only have a total of two minutes to grab her favorite products.
“You get two minutes to run and get whatever cleaning products you want—- you know facial cleansers for your facial routines,” said The Game.
“We do this thing called ‘Makeup Mondays’ where only on Mondays I let her wear makeup only on Mondays. Only on Mondays”
The father and daughter duo exited his vehicle and entered a local ULTA as Cali grabbed some signature facial cleansers and more.
As Cali moved throughout each aisle while competing against the two-minute time clock, The Game followed behind her couting down the time.
Towards the end of the video clip The Game had Cali reflect on her shopping spree experience. “I was super surprised. Overall I had a great time,” she said.
The former G-Unit rapper responded in advising Cali, “You want me to tell you the cheat code? What you should have did?”
“What you should have did was came right in and got you a thousand dollar gift card and said, and you’re done.”
He added, “Work smarter not harder okay.”
