Cousins! Comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish had a recent run-in with the police following suspicion of driving under the influence in the Beverly Hills area of California!
According to NBC News, the 43-year-old was detained by local police officials on Friday, November 24th following a welfare check around 5:45 AM. Police state upon their arrival they discovered Tiffany slumped on the wheel of her vehicle with the car engine still running. Sources state that she was processed and released the same day.
Reports read that Tiffany had performed at the Laugh Factory’s 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The Emmy award winning actress returned to the Laugh Factory the following day for a comedy show on Saturday November 25th
Tiffany was arrested on suspicion of DUI within a suburban neighborhood in Atlanta last year in January. According to the Hollywood Reporter police received a call around 2:30 a.m. in regard to a driver asleep at the wheel on a highway. Tiffany had later posted bond and was released from custody.
“I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four — in uniform,” Tiffany joked weeks later about the arrest while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
She added, “Now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out.. “I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”
Tiffany hasn’t publicly addressed her recent arrest at this time.
