Rudolph Isley Of The Isley Brothers Has Passed Away At 84 Years Old!

According to reports from TMZ, Rudolph is said to have passed away in Illinois on Wednesday, October 11th. There have been no details surrounding the 84-year-old’s death at this time. However, a source tells the outlet that it is believed that Rudolph experienced a heart attack.

Rudolph will forever be remembered for his long-standing career in music as one of the founding members of the beloved Isley brothers.

He began singing as a young teenager in church when the group was originally created amongst him and his siblings Ronald, O’Kelly and Vernon.

The group began to record music in the late 50’s as they traveled to New York City. Together they signed to RCA records and later debuted their hit single “Shout”

The Isley Brothers gained major success throughout the years even as their group dynamic changed. In the 70s younger brothers Ernie and Marvin alongside Rudolph’s brother in law Chris Jasper also joined in.

Rudolph has previously exited the music scene as he began to live the married life and also to carry out a career in ministry.

He also reunited with his brothers to record further hit songs throughout the 90s and 2000s. The Isely Brothers later succeeded to get inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
