Cousins! The family of a 10-year-old has taken legal action against Bow Wow upon claims that he ripped the young child out of thousands of dollars for an alleged feature!
According to reports from TMZ, the 10-year-old is said to have paid for a collaborated song with the rapper that was never completed. The father of the 10-year-old claims that Bow Wow was sent $3K through Cash App. Together they are now suing for $15K.
“Based on the foregoing and as a direct consequence of Defendant’s actions and failures, Plaintiff’s total damages, including costs and attorney’s fees, amount to $15,000.00” reads obtained court documents.
Sources state that the suit was filed nearly six months ago back in March and that the case is currently pending within a Georgia court.
Bow Wow has since released a statement defending himself while declaring that the plaintiff is a victim of cash app catfishing.
“ D pimpin done got yall again huh? 🤣 i dont conduct business on apps. I do NOT use or have cash app. So if you aint call management and send a wire .. you def was NOT dealing w me,” wrote Bow Wow on Twitter.
“Be careful who yall send yalls money to online. This happens everyday to folks, “ he adds. “This the 3rd time somebody acting like me catfishing people.”
