Cousins! Beauty and cosmetic mogul Kylie Jenner is opening up about her journey in navigating from being the most confident child in the room to tackling insecurities as an adult!
In a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu, Kylie speaks on circulated misconceptions of self-hate and how it’s often stated that she had surgery to change her entire face. The mother of two says she only has dermal fillers and to this day very much loves herself.
She adds, “I don’t want that to be a part of my story.”
“I’ve always loved myself, I still love myself. I’ll always want everyone to love themselves.”
In an open discussion with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Kylie says that though she was very confident as a child she began to question her looks as her family often poked fun at her ears.
Both of her older sisters responded in stating they made fun of her ears as gesture of love or a cute bonding gesture amongst siblings. However Kylie said she did not receive it that way.
“I received it as everyone’s making fun of my ears,” Kylie declared. “That f–ked me up. I never thought about my ears, and then for like five years, I never wore an updo.”
She says motherhood made her change her mind and accept her features as she explains that her five-year-old daughter Stormi has the same ears.
“I had Stormi and she has my ears, and it made me realize how much I love them,” Kylie said. “Now, I wear an updo every carpet.”
