According to reports from NBC 10 news, a shooting occurred on Thursday evening on the 5800 block of Mascher Street at 8:24 p.m. in Philadelphia. Police state a 25-year-old male was shot once in his back and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:39 PM.
Sources state both a 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man had also been shot and taken to the hospital. They have been listed as in stable condition at this time. Local officials have stated that the identity of the deceased victim has not been provided to the public.
However the outlet declares that a source close to the family has confirmed the victim to be YNG Cheese a local rapper and son to Gillie.
Million Dollaz Worth of Game co-host and social media influencer Wallo confirmed the tragic news on social media as he remembered YNG.
“Lil Cuz usually when I talk to you, I got a lot to tell you,” Wallo267 wrote in the caption alongside a carousel of photos featuring YNG Cheese. “Tonight the pain in my heart & tears spoke to you. I love you beyond life Cheese. I got your father, Rest Well,” he wrote on Instagram.
It has been stated that no arrests have been made at this time.
