Cousins! Details of Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel current state of health has shaken the internet following reports that he is currently facing a life threatening illness in prison!
In an exclusive interview with Lisa Evers she spoke one on one with Vybz attorney Isat Buchanan who shared the devastating news detailing his physical appearance after visiting him On Memorial Day.. “ He’s in a cell, and if you can picture a brick oven, because that’s how those cells are built, the ventilation is next to none.”
Isat says the 47 year old has no air circulation within his cell or water and that he has to use a bucket for a toilet.
Reports read that the incarcerated star is suffering from the autoimmune disorder of Graves’ disease as well as two reported heart conditions.
“His neck was swollen. If you think of a shirt that is about 18.5 inches in the neck area, you couldn’t close the collar on his neck, and that’s how bad it is in this moment… His face is actually swollen. And one other thing: He always wears glasses; in this condition, that causes his eyes to protrude,”says the Human Rights attorney.
Following circulation of the gut wrenching news, fans of Vybz took to social media with prayers and immediate concern.
““Vybz Kartel having life threatening medical issues is not what I wanted to hear today,” wrote a Twitter user.
“I wholeheartedly, truly from the depths of my soul, do not wanna hear anything other than good things discussing Vybz Kartel. Not THE Gaza legend because I cannot go for that,”reads another Tweet.
