Cousins! Lori Harvey is celebrating landing the cover of Essence magazine for their January/February issue surrounding Black Love!
In conversation with E! News with correspondent Adrienne Bailon, Lori spoke on the topic of Black Love while reflecting on the misconceptions floating around about her when it comes down to dating.
“Love is so important. Love is the foundation, I feel like, to everything. And this is — the Black Love issue — is the first time they are featuring a single woman on the cover. So I’m very honored.”
She continued, “I just feel like I’m growing. I feel like I’m growing as a woman and as an individual. So I just feel like this time is about me — self-love, self-growth — just being patient with myself in every stage as I’m growing.”
Throughout the years social media users have often been highly invested in Lori’s dating life as she’s causally been linked to some of the biggest names in the industry despite never confirming or denying dating rumors.
“It’s so funny Because I’m so quiet, there’s been so many stories that have been made up about me,” said Lori.
“I’ve seen stories about me being fully in love with somebody, and we have like this whole relationship and I’m like ‘I’ve actually never even met this guy before.’”
She continues in saying , “I’ve heard I’ve dated a father and son before.” Bailon asked, “not true?” To which Lori responded, “Absolutely not true.”
Lori explains that she is still a young woman and asks for people to allow her some grace as she’s continuously learning herself and shifting her focus. “I’m really learning myself, growing my brand, growing my business. And just focusing on me now. I feel like I’ve focused on so many other things for years.”

Back in 2019 there had been circulated rumors that Lori had a close relationship with Diddy just a few years prior to dating his son Justin Combs; reports TMZ.
