Cousins! Following a sincerely eventful holiday weekend of proposing to his girlfriend of a couple of months to the world finding out he recently welcomed a newborn with a completely different woman, actor LaKeith Stanfield has definitely had his hands full!
While making his way back to work today, LaKeith took to Instagram to reflect on the last couple of days in revealing that his bond with his fiancé has been reinforced since his daughter’s mom dropped the epic bombshell.
“Back to work. Loved the holidays and spending time with family. Some really great moments with loved ones. Beautiful time with my fiancé and the reinforcement of our bond in the midst of any kind of climate,” reads LaKeith’s caption.
“Love is a trip because at the same time as it can inspire really massive beautiful feelings of connectedness, it can also inspire pain and anger, and at the end of the day I think that’s part of what makes it so special. Time to place focus back on the craft at hand. Let God guide. Cheers to a fire new year!”
Just hours before the ball dropped to ring in the New Year, artist Tylor Hurd shared a post on her verified Instagram account with a caption that read, “decided to leave being someone’s secret family in 2022 ❤️ meet Apollo Stanfield.”
In a now delete reel Tylor shared heartfelt moments amongst family starring LaKeith and Apollo.
Following Tylor’s bombshell, she faced immediately backlash as folks believed the news was shared only after LaKeith revealed that he was engaged to Kasmere Trice. She responded in a follow up post within her Instagram stories that read, “just to clear a few things up I’m not jealous that’s he’s engaged to a woman he’s known for 5 months.”
She continued, “what I’m upset about is that he made more time to spend with this woman than he’s spent with Apollo her whole life and has been actively ignoring me when I’m trying to figure things out for our child.”
“Those clips of him and her together are all I have in general cause he barely sees her.”
Tylor says that she has also attempted to meet Kamsere and says her requests have ultimately been ignored.
