Cousins! Canada native Tory Lanez has been hit with another charge within the highly anticipated Megan Thee Stallion trial!
Within less than 24 hours of having a recently issued ankle monitor removed prosecutors hit him with an additional charge of felony negligent discharge of a firearm.
According to TMZ Tory had initially been facing charges for assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm following the 2020 incident. He has already pleaded not guilty denying all claims that he is responsible for shooting Megan in the foot while they were in a car together in Los Angeles.
Reports from the Daily Mail indicate that Tory’s legal team may possibly call on Kylie Jenner as well as Corey Gamble to take the stand. “Tory’s lawyer told the judge that Kylie Jenner and Corey Gamble are on his list of possible defense witnesses…”
It has been stated that the entire incident began from a previously held pool party at Kylie’s home in July 2020. Court documents detail that Megan and Tory had an alleged argument that erupted during the party in-which both Kylie and Corey were present for.
Following the recently issued update Tory took to Twitter with a tweet that read, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper….EVER“
