Cousins! A singer and songwriter has taken legal action against Nipsey Hussle’s estate for a second time upon claims of not fully honoring unpaid royalties!

Following Nipsey’s tragic 2019 murder, his older brother Sam had been named the administrator of his estate. He had also been issued the tasks of handling and collecting all financial debts on Nip’s behalf.

According to Radar Online a series of obtained court documents detail that Tasleema Yasin is currently demanding Nipsey’s estate distribution case remain open. This news comes after Sam reportedly shared in court recently that he had succeeded in fulfilling all creditor claims.

Reports read that back in 2019 Tasleema issued claims against Nipsey’s estate insisting that she was owed a cut of the money made from his hit single, ‘Hussle & Motivate. She has stated that she both wrote and performed on the 2016 track. However earlier this year Tasleema stated she was going to move forward with dropping her case.

Within newly filed court documents Tasleema notes that she performed, “ascending four-note vocal phrase featured throughout the song’s runtime, as well as a countermelody in my higher register featured prominently during the song’s chorus.” She argues that Sam has failed to honor his alleged promises.

Tasleema identifies herself as a creaditor who has worked closely with Nip on a series of projects, “for which he intended to pay her but never had the chance to while alive and which after her passed his Estate administrators have not fully honored to date despite promises to do so and Yasin good faith belief and acceptance of their promises to do so.”

She added, “they are in breach of the contract and agreements.”

Tasleema is currently demanding a judge to not allow the court case to close until she is successfully paid in full.

According to Radar Online Nipsey’s family has not yet responded.
