Cousins! August Alsina sure stirred the pot on social media recently upon seemingly coming out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community while introducing an important person in his life!
In a confessional interview apart of ‘VH1’s The Surreal Life’, August revealed the man that he describes has been assisting him “a love that feels limitless.”
Within a now viral shared clip August says, “What do you know? Love showed up, but in a new way,”. In a matter of seconds a male appears on screen with him, they then hug and smile.
“I want to share that and really honor the person that I love and that loves me back and teaching me so much about love and healing,” says August. “It defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like.”
The singer never denied or confirmed if the male is his mate or if he was actually coming out. However that didn’t stop social media users from chiming in with their own thoughts and speculations.
Some online users congratulated August on sharing his truths and other believe that his message was taken completely out of context. While others believe that the male within the video is actually a relative of August. None of these notions have been denied or confirmed at this time, but we will keep an eye and ear out for y’all.
