Coolio’s manager Jarez confirms Coolio had went to use the bathroom while at his friend’s house today and when he didn’t return after a while his friend began to call him. After eventually going in after him, he discovered Coolio laid out on the bathroom floor.

EMT’s revealed that Coolio had been confirmed dead on the scene and they believe he suffered a cardiac arrest attack.

Born Artis Leon Ivey Jr., Coolio is known for his contributions to music within the late 80s early 90s era. His hit single ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ for the film Dangerous Minds topped charts for the number one spot and remained for a total of 3 weeks.

He was also well known for his signature style of signature braids.

Coolio also rapped the intro to Nickelodeon’s original series ‘Kenan and Kel’

The official cause of his death has not yet been determined.
