Comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are no longer facing a lawsuit upon claims of child molestation and grooming as it appears the case has officially been dismissed!
Court documents obtained by TMZ confirmed the plaintiff asked the judge to dismiss the case with prejudice. Basically meaning that the case can never be refilled again.
The woman who filed the suit identified as Jane Doe forwarded a statement as well. “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
Jane didn’t mention Aries at all with her forwarded statement, however he’s also in the clear.
As we previously reported, Aries called the suit a shakedown for money while Tiffany took to social media to state that she regretted being apart of the skit.
Jane Doe alongside her brother had come forward in stating that both Tiffany and Aries forced them into filming a series of sexually explicit skits when they were only 14 and 7 years old. They initially claimed that they had been left traumatized for life after being allegedly groomed since they were small children.
Aries celebrated the news on Instagram with a caption that reads, “I HOPE YALL KEEP THAG SAME ENERGY 😏 “
Tiffany hasn’t publicly spoken on the new update at this time.
