A Harvard graduate and popular YouTuber has decided to take immediate legal against Nicki Minaj ‘s fanbase better known as the Barbz!
In an interview with the Daily Beast, Kimberly Nicole Foster shares in detail of what her life has been like for the last couple of days following a tweet pertaining to her opinion of the Queens, New York rapper.
“Nicki is so clearly a horrible person. Negativity sticks to her like glue. Idk if we’ve ever seen this before,” reads Kimberly’s September 12th tweet.
The post has racked up 20.3K likes and 423 replies. Kimberly said shortly after the tweet went out she received messages from Nicki’s fans confronting her about it. But it wasn’t long before the messages became alarming.
“It was normal, annoying stuff where I was like, ‘OK, block and move on,’” she said. “The messages became more threatening and dark, and then it started to be, ‘We’re gonna find you. I’m gonna kidnap you, I hope you get raped.”
Kimberly shares that she received a message where someone threatened to narrow down the address of her nieces’ school for “collateral damage.” This comes after Kimberly previously mentioned on Twitter her plans to attend their school for a “Grandfriends’ Day” event.
She also shares that she then noticed Nicki herself apparently encouraging fans’ behavior by liking tweets that connected to the displayed harassment towards her.
“There’s an understanding among the Barbz that the harder they go for her—the more virulent the nastiness—there’s more of an opportunity for her to recognize them,” says Kimberly.
Kimberly confirms that she is in the process of collecting detailed information about the folks who have threatened her in the last week. She shares that she does not plan to name Nicki within her suit.
