Murder Inc. has definitely been the topic of discussion throughout the internet lately. Whether its spilled dated tea that no one ever asked for or remembering the impactful legacy the record label contributed as a whole to the music industry. They might just have us ready to throw our M’s back up y’all!

While speaking with HipHop Dx, former Murder Inc, artist Lloyd he shared his personal views following the criticism of the recently debuted ‘Murder Inc Story’ on BET and if there’s a possibilty of a reunion tour.

“I don’t think you can have a Murder Inc. reunion tour without Ashanti,” Lloyd stated. “And I don’t think Ashanti and Irv are seeing eye to eye in any capacity right now; so that’s probably far fetched.”

I’LL SAY IT: Ashanti was like 20 & Irv Gotti was 10 years older, in control of her career with power dynamics; it’s giving he preyed on her.

Despite fans dreams of a Murder Inc. reunion tour being way out of scope Lloyd does share that him and Ja Rule may be working on some new music together in the future.

“I talk to Ja all the time about us recording new music,” Lloyd said. “I think he’s now back in his bag and feeling creative, which he hasn’t been for a few years since being released after his incarceration.”

He added: “I sent him music when he first got out — the first week — just to show him, ‘Hey, you know, I’m right here when you’re ready.’ We actually talked the other day and he says he’s ready.”

As for the Murder Inc. Story, Lloyd reveals he hasn’t seen it due to the fact that he has been on the road performing.

“When it first aired I was [in Europe] on tour, and then when I got back I was just running around crazy,” Lloyd says he has plans to watch it on his own time. “I prefer to wait until it’s all done and then I can just binge them all.”
