Cousins!

A group of Bronx robbers executed a fast, smash-and-grab robbery in a NYC store on earlier this month, stealing more than $2 million in diamond jewelry in just 20 seconds!

The NYPD released video of the daytime robbery on Aug. 5 at Rocco’s Jewelry, located in the Fordham section of the Bronx.

Police said the trouble began at about 2:38 p.m. on Friday afternoon, when the first perpetrator — a man in a white t-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers and black sunglasses — approached the store and was buzzed inside by an employee.

That same guy held the door open while three men wearing dark-colored clothing, masks and gloves rushed inside.

As shown in the surveillance camera footage, the crew wasted no time in their operation. One suspect took a mallet to the glass display cases, smashing them open so the others could grab the jewelry inside.

Meanwhile, the man who held the door to the store opened for him remained outside, acting as a lookout. “Once inside the store, the three individuals used a hammer to smash open the display cases and removed a large amount of high-end diamond jewelry,” police said.

Workers inside Rocco’s declined interviews but the owners at the business next door, Urban Eyes Optical, saw the video and want the suspects caught before they can do it again. “It was disgusting. They walk in the middle of the day, like it’s normal. I mean I saw the guy that was holding the door. They went in and in 36 seconds they took the whole store,” said Sandra Duque.

Witnesses tell CNN news the banging was so loud, they thought they were hearing gunshots. “They came in, boom boom boom, in and out and gone,” one man said. “Unfortunate. I’m sorry this happened to them. Unfortunate even though it’s probably insured, but this type of stuff happens,” another man said.

You can watch how it all went down here:

As police officials continue to look for the suspects and any information, the store remains closed. It is not clear when they plan to reopen.

Now y’all know it’s always something going down in New York. Cousins, What y’all think about this situation?
