Breaking news reports confirm that after nearly four months since the brutal stabbing of a man within an alleged domestic dispute, his girlfriend has officially been arrested and charged for his murder!

According to Miami Herald , Courtney Clenney was taken into custody on Wednesday in Hawaii. It has been stated that she will soon be extradited to Miami-Dade County to face trial. Her attorney Frank Prieto says Courtney was in rehabilitation for substance abuse and post traumatic stress disorder since the fatal incident on April 3rd of this year.

As we previously reported, Christian Toby Obumseli, 27 was sadly pronounced dead on that Sunday evening after being stabbed to death within his luxury complex apartment at One Paraiso located in Edgewater, that he shared with Courtney. Officers had responded to an alert that a man was brutally stabbed. Courtney was detained at the scene , covered in blood and taken for mental evaluation.

She claimed self defense, however his family came forward in stating that they doubt Christian was a threat to her.

“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged,” Prieto stated. “We look forward to clearing her name in court.”

Reports read that the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, confirmed in a press release on today they an arrest warrant currently remained sealed. State Attorney Katherine Fernandez, along with City Police Chief Manuel Morales and South Florida U.S. Marshal Gadyaces Serralta, are said to detail the arrest at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.
