Law And Order Crew Member Shot To Death On Brooklyn Set!

A parking enforcement worker was tragically shot to death while working on a Brooklyn set of ‘Law and Order: Organized : Crime’ !

The fatal incident took place early Tuesday morning around 5AM prior to production; near the North Henry Street area in Greenpoint. According to NBC News the unidentified gunman wearing a Black hoodie opened Johnny Pizarro’s car door as he sat inside and began shooting. The victim is said to have been hit in his neck and head.

Johnny was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals / Woodhull where he was sadly pronounced dead an hour later. Police officials are currently investigating the ordeal and have said there is no clear motive at this time of if the men knew each-other. The gunman is still at large with no arrests made.

Johnny had been hired as an outside agent to help clear parking spaces on connection to trucks associated with production.

“We were terribly saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew members was the victim of a crime early this morning and has died as a result,” reads a statement from NBC and Universal Television spokesperson. “We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate. Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”

Local officials describe the shooter as a man with a thin build with a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
