Polo G’s attorney is calling out Miami PD for releasing “heavily redacted” body cam footage of the rapper going off on officers following his 2021 arrest the night of his album release party for his project Hall of Fame

As reported by TMZ, attorney Bradford Cohen, who represents Kodak Black, said Miami police did the rapper dirty by only releasing what he calls “heavily redacted” footage and only “the parts that disparage the defendant.”

Though, Miami PD said they did NOT release the viral footage. In the video, Polo G is heard repeatedly yelling “yo” to get the officer’s attention before verbally berating him for choosing to be a cop and calling the officer “broke as hell.”

“I’m just sayin’, do you got $10,000 in your bank account right now?” Polo asked the policeman. “I’m just sayin’, bro. If you die right now, what can you give your kids? If you die right now, what could you give the lady that you in bed with? What could you give to your mama? Have you ever bought yo’ mama anything? Did you buy yo’ mama a car? Did you buy yo’ mama a house? I did that.”

Cohen claims that the released video didn’t show crucial moments of the rapper’s arrest, “They didn’t show him getting slammed to the ground or the reason why he was pulled over. Of course, they wouldn’t show that.”

While many find the exchange funny, others see the 23-year-old rapper’s comments as to why he was ordered to take anger management classes.

Back in 2021, Polo G was arrested hours after celebrating the release of his album Hall of Fame on charges of battery of a police officer, threatening a public servant, resisting arrest with violence, resisting an officer without violence, and criminal mischief during a traffic stop.

The officer was left with abrasions to the face and a swollen right cheek after receiving multiple punches and elbow strikes to the head. Although, in videos leaked to social media, Polo’s words were more violent than his hands, which were handcuffed.

Cousins, do you think Polo G overdid it?
