Another day– another athlete facing a domestic violence dispute!

Miles Bridges, forward for the Charlotte Hornets, was arrested recently based on a felony domestic violence charge, according to Los Angeles police.

The 24-year-old had a great run during the past NBA season and was arrested “on suspicion of felony domestic violence,” reports NBC News.

According to the Los Angeles County records, the former Michigan State attendee was arrested around 2 p.m. and booked into jail around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. After posting the $130,000 bail, Bridges was released around 8 p.m.

In a statement, the Hornets have responded to Bridge’s arrest.

“The Charlotte Hornets are aware of the situation involving Miles Bridges,” the team said. “We are in the process of gathering additional information. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Since the announcement of Bridge’s arrest, his wife, Mychelle Johnson, breaks her silence by sharing images from the dispute.

According to Complex, alongside a series of photos of the injuries, she wrote, “I hate that it has come to this but I can’t be silent anymore. I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.”

“I have nothing to prove to the world, but I won’t allow anyone who could do something so horrible to have no remorse and paint a picture of something I’m not. I won’t allow the people around him to continue to silence me and continue to lie to protect this person.”

The photos showcase injuries– plus other bruises on her face, hands, back, and another part of her body.

She continues,

“I won’t be silent to protect others anymore because I value myself and my kids more than anyones ‘image. A fractured nose, wrist, torn eardrum, torn muscles in my neck from being choked until I went to sleep and a severe concussion. I don’t need sympathy, I just don’t want this happening to anyone else, I just want this person to get help, my kids deserve better. That’s all I want. It hurts, everything hurts, this situation hurts, most importantly I’m scared and hurting for my kids who were witness to everything. Please respect my family’s privacy and stop with the disgusting rumors and allegations.”

The couple has two children together .

Unfortunately for Bridges, this news comes at the beginning of the NBA free agency, where he’s due for a big payday. In 2018, he was the 12th pick in the 2018 NBA draft and is known for his highlight dunks.

At this point, we are tired of domestic violence! Can we keep our hands to ourselves?
