Congratulations are in order for legendary music mogul Brother Love as he is set to receive the lifetime achievement award at this year’s BET Awards!

The lifetime achievement award is deliberately set to honor industry leaders who have helped pushed the culture forward in numerous lanes throughout their career. Each recipient is recognized for being a pivotal leader that continuously inspire generations by simply setting the tone of excellency.

“Diddy has always been a pioneering force in our community, breaking barriers, achieving unprecedented heights, blazing new trails, and, in so doing, raising the bar for all of us,” said BET CEO Scott Mills within today’s press release.

“His virtuosity is matched only by his range – from music to media, culture, business, and philanthropy – Diddy has exemplified Black Excellence. We are delighted to have this opportunity to use our biggest stage to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of our friend Diddy.” 

Cousins, be sure to mark your calendars as Academy Award®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning actor, writer, director, producer, and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson, is coming through for a two-peat as she hosts this year’s “BET Awards” 2022 for the second time in a row. The show is set to air LIVE Sunday, June 26 on BET at 8 pm ET/ PT at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
