We are sending prayers up to the family of a 17 year old male after his body was discovered lifeless outside of LeBron James founded school of I Promise Academy!

According to reports from the New York Post, the tragic incident unraveled as Ethan Liming alongside a group of friends shot a water gun at people last Thursday on June 2nd.

Ethan’s dad Bill explained that his son alongside a group of friends had ran into another group of teens described as three young males and a female where they played around until an altercation escalated.

“Teenagers were being teenagers,” says Bill.

It has been indicated by officials that Ethan, who identified as white, and his friends, one of who was also white and an additional two who are Black, used a SplatRBall Water Bead Blaster on some people before the teen was reportedly assaulted.

“I don’t want to say too much about the investigation. But apparently some of his friends who were with him were fooling around in the parking lot and some other people didn’t like it.”

He continues in saying that Ethan had gotten out of the car and said, “told people to relax — ‘It’s a joke, it’s a joke,’ and the individuals didn’t like that. One individual attacked him.”

It has been said that an unidentified person came up from behind Ethan and hit him in the head.

“He was fighting back for his life. A third individual came up behind him and overwhelmed him. And they knocked him out on the ground. His friends tried to help him,” said Bill.

Sources confirm that Ethan’s body was discovered in a parking lot near the basketball court of the Promise School. He is said to have died due to blunt force trauma.

“My son Ethan Liming was murdered by three African American males and a female who stood by and did nothing,” says Bill.

The teen’s family is requesting help from the public to come forward with any information.

“Ethan was everything, he was a good boy, he was a smart boy. He loved life. He loved living life. He wanted to be friends with everybody,” says his mother, Jennifer Liming, on Tuesday. “Ethan didn’t see color, he saw hearts. He was just such a good person.”

Police Chief Stephen Mylett and Mayor Dan Horrigan came forward within a recently held news conference to address rumors about the tragic incident.

“There were assumptions made that this was a race-related incident,” said Mylett . “There is nothing that we have in our possession right now, any information at all indicating race played a role in this homicide. Nothing. I want to reassure the community that if we do receive information that race played a role in this, as in any homicide, we will consult with our prosecuting attorneys and add additional charges.”

He continues, “It was a senseless act of violence in our city yet again,” Mylett told reporters. “We have a lot of work to do in this city as the country does at large.”

The incident is currently under investigation as no arrests have been made at this time.

“We live in a sick world. People look at each other based on the color of skin or the fact somebody disagrees with somebody else.

“And because you disagree with me, you must be evil. And we have so dehumanized each other in our society — that’s why my son was murdered,” said Bill.
