New York City Police officials are currently searching for a male responsible for stabbing a young teen in her back randomly as she entered a local store!

According to Pix 11 , the incident took place on May 22 as the 16-year-old girl was walking into a juice bar close to home, within the Brownsville area of Brooklyn.

Surveillance footage from the store shows as she was randomly stabbed from behind unknowingly.

“Some guy just saw me and, in randomness, he just wanted to come and hurt me,” said Dagean Wilson to PIX 11. Reports read that she was stabbed once within her left shoulder.

“It felt like a punch,”said Dagean. “It hurt, but I was already getting something, so I didn’t want to cause any drama.”

Sources confirm that her mom LaRonda Hicks, tsaid she saw a “deeper wound” and told her daughter that it looked like she had been stabbed.

Dagean was then rushed to the hospital where she was treated and released. She is currently recovering and explains that she is still in shock since the attack.

“She is a trooper,” said LaRonda. “She is a soldier.”

She says that her was already considering moving out of the city, and that this incident has left them anxious.

Daegan confirms that she doesn’t know the suspect, and that she was only trying to go to the store.

“I don’t understand why they would do that.”

Police have identified the suspect as 20-year-old male as Lewis Osie.
