Further details have been forwarded following a tragic mass shooting incident at a Tulsa, Oklahoma located hospital that claimed the lives of four people!
According to CNN, identified gunman Michael Louis targeted a surgeon he believed caused his back pain.
Having legally purchased an AR-15 style riffle early Wednesday afternoon, Michael entered a physicians’ office building fatally shooting Dr. Preston Phillips alongside three additional victims. Sources confirm that he then turned the gun on himself.

Police Chief Wendell Franklin said during a news conference today that there was a note discovered on Michael that, “made it clear that he came in with the intent to kill Dr. Phillips and anyone who got in his way.”
“He blamed Dr. Phillips for the ongoing pain following the surgery,” Franklin said, later calling the letter’s contents “a clear motive.”
The others, Franklin said, just “stood in the way, and Louis gunned them down.”
Franklin continues in saying Michael had been released from the hospital on May 24 but continued to complain that he was in pain.
“He called to complain several times over several days,” Franklin stared. Michael also called in on the day of the shooting,“complaining of back pain and wanting additional assistance.”
It has been indicated that an unspecified number of other victims within the facility were injured at the orthopedic offices of the Warren Clinic on the building’s second floor.
The Warren Clinic is a series of primary and specialty care offices within the Saint Francis system, reads reports.
“We are so distraught,” Louis’ niece texted early Thursday morning. She asked not to be named in the story, citing the “heinous” nature of the crime. “I don’t even want to be associated,” she said to The Daily Beast.
She also explained that the family does not condone violence of any kind.
“We are aware that he has been experiencing back pain for a long time but [there is] no reason for this senseless act,” she said. “We are a Christian-based family. We have never experienced this before.”
Our prayers remain with the victims families.
