Cousins!

We are sending our deepest prayers and condolences to a St Louis family left with a broken heart following a tragic accident that resulted in the death of two young cousins!

Kuaron Harvey and Paris Harvey were attending their cousins birthday party on Friday March. 25th when the fatal incident took place around 1AM while on Instagram live.

Within the now viral video, Paris was seen playing with a gun closely located next to Kuaron’s head when it went off. Sadly his body immediately dropped to the floor.

The sound of the firearm and the action that took place shocked her and she fell to the ground also. As she is on the ground the the lower half of her body and hands are cut off from the camera’s view. It has been said that the accident prompted her to immediately turn the gun on herself and pull the trigger.

According to the New York Post, police officials are ruling the incident a murder suicide, but Paris’ family state that is untrue and that the entire ordeal was an accident.
“It was no murder. It wasn’t a suicide,” Paris’ mother, Shinise Harvey, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “It was a freak accident. It happened.”

She explains that when additional relatives saw the incident that said the pair was, “trying to be too hip”

“It wasn’t a situation where they were arguing or anything like that,” said Paris grandmother Susan Dyson. “They were playing with a gun when they shouldn’t have been. Of course, they shouldn’t have been doing it. I think it just went off. It went off by mistake.”

Sadly, the cousins lifeless bodies were discovered around 2AM and they were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Their grandmother explained that the two were at a birthday party for a younger family member when they ventured off to the bathroom to livestream in front of a mirror and that’s when the tragedy accident took place.

The family says that the two were were like “brother and sister,” and played around together, making jokes and carrying on.

“No matter how good we raise our kids, they still are going to venture off,”says Shinise . 

Reports read that the St. Louis police have not yet released the results of the department’s investigation.
