Snoop Dogg is a jack of all trades, and this iconic rapper could be stepping his foot in the plant-based world!

When Snoop hosted an episode of “How It Mizzade?” on Jimmy Kimmel, the Long Beach rapper looked at how the traditional hot dog is created. Well, Snoop Dogg was not feeling it. And while disgusted, the rapper declared, “I ain’t never eating a mother f****** hot dog! If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want one. I’m good.” Six years later, Snoop Dogg may be onto something and yep you guessed it: it involves a hot dog.

Recently, Snoop’s team has filed for an intent-to-use patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark office for “Snoop Doggs”; a potential “hot dogs and other sausages” brand, according to The Beet. 

Now you guys may be wondering why the assumption is leading up to it being possibly vegan. Since nothing is known about Snoop’s latest venture and with his funny history with hot dogs, many people believe it will be plant-based.

And get this — this is nothing new to the Big-Ol-Double-G because Snoop has invested in numerous vegan companies. But with his growing list of business operations, the rapper handles, such as cannabis company Leafs by Snoop and liquor brand Indoggo Gin. Snoop Doggs will be his first plant-based company. 

Also, Snoop has been very vocal about living a healthier lifestyle. In 2020, he explained to Forbes that he was transitioning to a more-plant based diet. 

“With such a busy schedule, I needed to make sure that I’m taking care of myself both mentally and physically,” Snoop Dogg said to Forbes.

 “I needed to change up my diet a bit to help me give me all the nutrients I need to continue to be at the top of my game. Some of my immediate family are vegan and vegetarian so they helped me figure out the best plan with me.”

With his involvement with Beyond Meats and Dunkin’ Donuts Beyond Sausage Sandwich, there is no brainer why the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper “Snoop Doggs” will be plant-based.
