Cardi B Wins Million Dollar Lawsuit Against Blogger Tasha K.

The internet can be a tricky place that has a way of showing and proving why it is important to use your words wisely and not to speak on things you haven’t witnessed with your own eyes and ears. Especially when it comes down to he say-she say!

Cardi B has received countless praise in the last couple of weeks for standing up against online bullying with the issuing of a million dollar defamation lawsuit.

In a recent update, a judge has ruled in Cardi’s favor against popular Blogger Tasha K. As we previously reported the Bronx, New York native sued the ‘Unwine’ host after she repeatedly posted videos paired with allegations , that Cardi was a prostitute who abused drugs and had contracted sexually transmitted diseases.

According to TMZ, the trial lasted a little less than two weeks. The court ruled Tasha liable on 3 separate claims ordering her to pay Cardi $1.25 million in general damages and $250k for medical expenses.

Following the official ruling Tasha took to Twitter to say, “My Husband, Attorney’s, & I fought really hard. I want to thank them for their long hours and sleepless nights. Winos it’s only up from here. See y’all in a few days. Back to work.”
