Cousins!

There’s been a sudden turn in the divorce battle between Stevie J and his estranged wife Faith Evans; following reports that the Hip-hop producer lawyer has decided to turn in the towel!

According to Hip-Hop Dx, his attorney, Kimia Klein of the law firm Fox Rothschild LP. filed a motion to dismiss Stevie as a client. The attorney cites the reason as “irremediable breakdown” in their relationship.

“Despite several attempts by my office to informally resolve the issues with Steven, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issues,” Klein wrote in her filing without revealing what the issue was exactly, citing attorney-client privilege.

Official court records confirm a hearing date scheduled for March 28 to resolve the dispute between Stevie and Klein. Also, Klein adds,  “The relationship has broken down sufficiently so that my colleagues and I cannot continue to represent Steven.”

In November, Stevie J filed for divorce from Evans. The couple has been married since 2018 and has had its shares of ups and downs. Things went rocky when a video of Stevie accusing Evans of cheating surfaced online. He issued an apology, but Stevie quickly asked for spousal support from his estranged wife.
