Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight is on the verge of telling his life story following circulating report that the Hip-Hop mogul has made a deal to have his life story told by producer Steve Whitney and his company TSW Films!
According to Yahoo News, the man behind the remake of “The Amityville Horror” film is enlisting Nick Cassavetes and Anthony Thorne to write the script. Currently, Knight is serving time at San Diego’s RJ Donovan Correctional Facility for voluntary manslaughter.

Throughout his career, Whitney has focused on retelling stories of people on the big screen. One of his films, “One Chance,” starring James Corden and produced with Simon Cowell. Whitney chronicled the life of Paul Potts, who won Britain’s Got Talent in 2007. Now Whitney is shifting his attention to Knight, who is one of the iconic figures in Hip-Hop.
“During the golden era of rap and hip hop, all roads led through Suge Knight. That era helped define a new brand of music and culture that changed the world,” says Whitney.
