Cousins!

A Pennsylvania man named Edilberto Miguel Palaez Moctezuma, wasn’t aware he was moments away from losing his life as he spent time like many of us did during the Thanksgiving holiday. Hanging with family and loved ones, eating, drinking and chilling.

Unfortunately for the 25 year old, unbeknownst to him, an argument had begun outside of his home in Norristown, Pa., a Philadelphia suburb. A bullet abruptly pierced through the window of his home as he ate, and struck him in the torso, reported USA Today.

District attorney from Montgomery County Pa, Kevin Steeles, stated in a news release that after Moctezuma was struck on Thanksgiving evening, he was airlifted to a hospital close by, but was then pronounced dead.

Steeles added “Mr. Palaez Moctezuma was murdered while eating Thanksgiving dinner inside his home, and to be clear, he and his family were not involved in the dispute. We will find this shooter and the others involved in this killing and seek justice for the murder of an innocent man, who wasn’t safe even in the confines of his own home.”

NY Post has shared the 19 year old suspect’s name, Kevin Clarke. Prosecutors believe there was an apparent argument over stolen booze, from another Thanksgiving party underway. It escalated and Clarke, who was accused of taking the alcohol, allegedly pumped out 7 rounds before disappearing into the night.

Moctezuma’s family is left grieving, while authorities look for the gunman who stole their loved one’s life and still remains at large.

Cousins, hug one another every chance you get, as tomorrow is not promised.

We are thinking of Moctezuma’s family and sending them peace & strength through this challenging time. May he R.I.P.🙏🏾
