Cousins!

Lil Wayne is likely sleeping real sound as of late, with 20 million snuggled right up beside him, since a California court recently ruled in his favor!

A judge has determined that “the state was not in the appropriate jurisdiction for the $20 million suit” reports Pitchfork

According to TMZ, they obtained documents showing Ronald Sweeney was brought on by Lil Wayne in 2005, to stop the Cash Money steal (aka renegotiate his contract with Cash Money) during the time when Wayne was beefing with Birdman.

Sweeney handled the assignment, and Wayne settled the lawsuit in 2018. Though Sweeney did receive some payments with respect to that settlement, he claims Wayne needs to show him the money.

There are missed payments affecting the total amount he should have actually received from the 2018 settlement.

Ronald Sweeney wasn’t trying to be petty, when he pointed out that Lil Wayne unloaded his masters to Universal. In return, they made it rain for Lil Wayne to the tune of $100 million dollars. Sweeney was simply pointing out that Wayne can; without question, afford to make it drizzle into his pockets too and cover what he feels is still owed to him by the Grammy award winning rapper.

At this time there has been no word from Lil Wayne’s camp for their version of events.

Sweeney maintains he was not properly compensated for work that spans over a decade. There is of course a caveat in the ruling.

Though the judge agreed with Lil Wayne’s attorney that the 20 million suit was filed in the wrong jurisdiction, the ruling still provides the option to file suit in the right zip code.

Looks like Lil Wayne can still sleep, but he will have to keep one of his eyes open.
