Summer Walker Announces Sophomore Album “Still Over It” On The Anniversary Of ‘Over It’ Album!

The “Girls Need Love Too” singer takes to Instagram to announce a new album on the anniversary of Over it!

Recently, Summer Walker has been in promo mode regarding her upcoming album. The singer has posted clips on social media to announce the month and date, and even created an Instagram page titled Summer’s Hard Drive to get fans excited about the release.Yet, It was the anniversary of Over It that gave fans the glimpse of the name of her sophomore album. 

“Tomorrow (10/4) is the anniversary of my debut album “Over it”! So go ahead and turn your alerts on cause I got something to tell y’all!”

According to Rap-Up, Walker shared a trailer featuring JT from City Girls, where she recreates the cover artwork from her debut album Over It. In the caption, the Atlanta native says, “My new album “STILL OVER IT” Out 11/5!” Guests who will appear on the album include SZA, Ari Lennox, and Lil Durk. Walker has also been in the studio with Pharrell Williams/Neptunes and Omarion.

 It has been two years since the release of Over It, which debuted #1 and featured collaborations from 6LACK, Bryson Tiller, Usher, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and more. Within that period, fans have taken to social media to ask, where’s the album? With the news of this announcement, fans can finally sigh a sigh of relief.

During and Q&A with fans, Walker revealed that the album would contain more tracks than her debut. It will have fans “crying and turning up.” Whatever and whoevers on the album doesn’t even matter at this point. Just drop the album already
