A recent lawsuit has been filed against Hip Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa following allegations of sexual assault and prostitution of a minor!
According to Rolling Stone, Bambaataa is accused of inflicting trauma as a result of sexually abusing and prostituting a 12 yr old minor referred to as ‘John Doe’, from 1991 to 1995.
John Doe alongside their legal team hope to hold Afrika Bambaataa, government name Lance Taylor, accountable. Plaintiff has struggled since the incidents to thrive, incapable of healing from the psychological and physical injuries, it has affected most areas of his life.
“The New York Child Victims Act has finally provided a legal means for child victims of sexual abuse to hold those like Afrika Bambaataa responsible for the psychological and physical injuries caused to their victims. We will aggressively pursue justice for our client in this case, who the evidence will show, was horribly abused by Mr. Bambaataa.”
Mr Taylor is no stranger to these types of allegations. There was another individual “crate boy”, who declared similar allegations towards the entertainer. Zulu Nation and other organizations parted ways with Mr Taylor back in 2016 as a result.
The Guardian reports Mr Taylor has yet to address this lawsuit.
