The Ladies Of “The Real” Discuss Limits On Gift Giving In A Relationship Verses When Your Married; Ari And Moneybagg Yo Respond!

Cousins!

Social media influencer Ari Fletcher blessed her man Moneybagg Yo with an unforgettable gift in honor of his 30th birthday earlier this month!

As social media users battle it out in discussion of the gift being sincerely thoughtful in providing the person you care for with generational wealth, others saw it as a ‘Sis pump your breaks until he blesses your ring finger,’ moment.

The ladies of The Real joined the group chat in a recently aired episode to dissect the differences of gift giving in a relationship verses marriage and should there be a limit until last names are swapped.

Co-host Garcelle Beauvais dished out her honest opinion in saying,”Last year, last season, Loni and I were talking about, ‘Don’t act married if you’re not married,'” she said. “This is acting married! That’s a huge gift to someone that you’re not even married to. I feel like, if a man gave me twenty-eight acres, I would feel obligated to stay with them if it didn’t work.”

As the show’s clip began to gain traffic and racked up in views both Ari and Moneybagg tweeted a response.

“Y’all don’t know the half of what he does for me mentally or financially. I’ve never felt so safe, loved, spoiled and happy with a person,”

Ari continues, “He loves me and my son so much. I’m sorry that you haven’t experienced a love like this. Focus on getting your own land and your husband. Y’all mad at Jewlery and cars but generational wealth is taking it too far… people will always have something to say no matter what.”

Moneybagg followed up with a series of short and sweet tweets that read, “Love is Love Mind Ya Business.” He also joked, “Not Fancy hating on my gift.”

Cousins do you agree should there be limits on gifts depending on yall status?
