Gabrielle Union has been pretty transparent with her life’s experience in her new memoir “You Got Anything Stronger,” as she reflects on motherhood, marriage and so much more!

Gabrielle provides a deeper prospective of vulnerability in letting readers know that they are not alone in anything they’re currently struggling with in life.

In an recently released interview with Essence , Gabrielle speaks further on Dwyane Wade having a baby as they were on a break in 2013, prior to them tying the knot in 2014.

The actress explains that the woman she is today wouldn’t have stayed.

“The me of today would not have stayed with him, but would I be who I am now without that pain? That fiery explosion that created life and light? “

Gabrielle continues, “The advice I would give myself now would be to leave. ‘You don’t have to do this. You don’t think you have an option, but you do. Save yourself.’”

She further elaborates in saying, “If you’re going to ask me — a divorced woman who’s had a gang of relationship challenges — what you should do in a relationship, you’ve already failed. I could give you my coulda, woulda, shoulda, but at the end of the day I didn’t. So be careful who and when you ask for advice about what to do in the moment.”
