Cousins!

They weren’t ready for her!

Obliterating the pageant’s 74 year history, 26yr medical scientist Pamela Uba is coming in hot clinching 1st place as the first black woman to EVER be crowned Miss Ireland!

Highlighted in Essence, this historical win allows the part-time model Miss Uba to show up and show out as Miss World on behalf of the country.

When you take a peek into her Instagram profile, it is very apparent how humbled she is by her win. She took to her page ‘thanking all who’ played an instrumental role in helping her shape history that night!

“It has been such a privilege to get to know, stand beside, and go through this unique journey with so many extraordinary young women in the competition,” reads Pamela’s caption.

Reports read that she will represent her country at the 70th Miss World pageant in Puerto Rico later on this year in December.

Cousins, if you tune in to Miss World, who will you be cheering for?
