Nicki Minaj has had VERY interesting couple of days after forwarding her own personal views of why she was unable to attend this year’s Met Gala on social media!
On Monday the Queens, New York rapper took to Twitter to say that she wouldn’t be in attendance because she has an infant and doesn’t have a nanny, also that she wasn’t going to get vaccinated just to attend the event. Nicki went on to forward claims that a relative of her’s back in Trinidad had a bad reaction to the vaccination that made his testicals swell up and currently has him incoherent and impotent.
The series of tweets went viral as fans stood both with and against Nicki’s claims, even leading to further debates and discussions around the world . However she did state that she was doing her own research on the vaccination before making any final decisions.
On Wednesday Nicki went on Instagram live to forward additional claims that her Twitter account had been suspended. “I’m in Twitter jail y’all..They didn’t like what I was saying over there on that block, I guess my poll was gonna be asking questions is OK I like being fkng dumb then boom. Can’t tweet.”

Nick then took her talents to Instagram live where she further explained things to her fans. She spoke on how men are often afraid to speak on their health issues and difficulties because of instances like this. She went on to reveal that she had allegedly been offered a visit to the White House, however CNN correspondent Don Lemon tweeted that Nicki did not receive an official White House invite.
“A source tells CNN that @NICKIMINAJ was offered a conversation with a doctor to clarify the efficacy and side effects of the vaccine not a visit to the White House. A White House statement is coming shortly,” reads Don’s tweet.
“A White House official tells @cnn’s Jeff Zeleny that “As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine.”

Nicki immediately responded on social media against the claims that she was lying about the invite. She says that declined the offer to visit the White House and would much rather have a live video chat on social media.
“Do y’all think that I would go on the Internet and lie about being invited to the … White House?” reads her Instagram post.
“We’d like to offer Nicki an invitation to come to the White House to speak with two people… the two names… um, what is that man’s name… Dr. Fauci and with the surgeon general.”
Nicki continues, “ And do you know what I said? I said, ‘Well, I would rather not have to travel, can we do something like a [Instagram] Live’ and they said that they’re open to me choosing a platform to do a Live but they never have taken that off the table for me to come to the White House.”

“And then just imagine someone saying, ‘Oh, no, we offered Nicki Minaj the same phone call we offer everybody else.’ What? You think they would offer that to Mookie in the projects. No. ‘Everybody else.’
She adds, “And I see why a lot of celebrities keep themselves bubbled up. You understand? We’re living in a place without free healthcare. So anybody in this country has the right to question anything about their health.”
