“ There are millions of vacancies, and small businesses across the Nation are desperate for workers,” Ted’s controversial tweet continues.
The politician’s comments were met with immediate backlash as social media users spoke on the current minimum wage and Ted’s previous opposition of forwarding a $15 minimum wage increase for employees.
However on the other hand numerous users agreed with Ted in saying that many people rode the unemployment wave out for way too long and need to get a job to work like everyone else.
According to The Insider, Three federal unemployment-aid programs end on Labor Day. The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, the Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation program, and a program that provided people with $300 a week in Federal Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation were amongst ultimately came to an end.
