Cousins!
The Carters have effortlessly broken the Internet in the name of LOVE following a sneak peek of their Tiffany& Co. Fall 2021 : About Love campaign !
Though the campaign was met with a series of positive comments of the Carters reigning high as the perfect couple, Beyonce faced direct backlash as social media users accused her of flaunting a blood diamond.
Lady Gaga wore that diamond necklace and it was all love but as soon as it lands on Beyoncé’s neck y’all suddenly remember where it’s from and how it’s a blood diamond. pic.twitter.com/oHhO1xXuB5

Beyoncé made history within the campaign of being the first Black woman and fourth person ever to wear the 128.54 carat Tiffany yellow cut diamond surrounded by over 100 carats of white diamonds.
Social media users called out the couple for not only posing in front of a piece from the private Jean Michel Basquiat collection but for Beyonce wearing a diamond discovered from 1877 follower by Tiffany’s pledging $2 million dollars to scholarships and internships at HBCUs.

As numerous negative comments poured in Ms Tina Lawson taped in on a social media post to say, “ “How many of you socially conscious activist own diamonds ? I thought so ! Well guess what did you go to try to check to see where the diamond came from? Probably not.’‘
She continued, “So when you guys get engaged you won’t have a diamond you gonna put on a sterling silver band And you better check out where it came from and the origin of where came from and why you add it check out the calls for the Leather that you weird because they made it came from another country to to ban and not buy diamonds right because your righteous !!”
She was unfairly attacked by her Stans for calling out Beyoncé’s engagement with the African continent as exploitative/capitalist when Black is King came out. Now Bey is a Tiffany ambassador for a blood diamond w/a long colonial history https://t.co/H6pCOaYYAM
