For years McDonald’s Ice cream machines have lived up to the circulated and proven theory that their machines almost never ever work!

In response to ice cream lovers broken hearts around the world an official legal battle is underway which explains why the machine sometimes breaks.

According to the Business Insider , the company that makes McDonald’s ice cream has been forwarded a restraining order following claims that they stole trade secrets about how to fix the machine.

The court documents read that the company named Kytch, made a device to help McDonald’s franchisees repair the McFlurry machines.

Kytch is currently suing the ice cream machine maker by the name of Taylor, stating that the company used theMcDonald’s franchisee to steal trade secrets related to Kytch’s repair devices.

Reports read that a California judge forwarded a temporary restraining order against Taylor last month on July 30 advising the company to hand over its Kytch devices within 24 hours.

Since them Taylor has denied the allegations in the lawsuit in court filings and responded by accusing Kytch of designing a “parasitic device” based on their intellectual property.
