Legendary musician and producer BabyFace and his wife of 7 years Nicole Patenburg have announced they are getting a divorce!

According to TMZ the couple released a joint statement in regards to their split.

“After much thought and with great “sadness, we have decided to end our marriage. We continue to care and have respect for one another and share eternal love for our daughter and her well-being.”

The statement continues, “We ask for personal privacy for ourselves and our daughter as we navigate these new steps as a family.”

Reports read that Babyface and Nicole got married in May 2014 together they share one daughter, 12-year-old Peyton Nicole.

There has been no details forwarded at this time for the cause of their split.
