The state of Washington has officially received the green light for their “Joint for Jabs” initiative, a campaign that offers free marijuana to vaccinated adults!
According to USA Today Washington’s Liquor and Cannabis Board will allow for licensed cannabis retailers to forward one joint per adult consumer that takes the COVID-19 vaccination at a vaccination clinic.
Reports read that the program was created in efforts of helping the state reach its mark of over 70% of vaccinated adults.
It has been indicated that the Joints for Jabs campaign will be effective from now until July. 12th, 2021.
So many states declared cannabis retailers and employees as essential early on in the pandemic,” says New England-based cannabis brand and business consultant Ben Mervis.
“This is a poetic opportunity for them to not only give back but to incentivize efforts to create safer, vaccinated communities.”
