Cousins!

It is with an extremely heavy heart that we inform you all that beloved actor Samuel E. Wright well known for voicing Sebastian the crab within the classic animated series The Little Mermaid, has passed away!

The sad news was posted on Facebook by Wright’s hometown of Montgomery, New York reports TMZ.

The post reads, “Sam was an inspiration to us all and along with his family established the Hudson Valley Conservatory. On top of his passion for the arts and his love for his family, Sam was most known for walking into a room and simply providing PURE JOY to those he interacted with. He loved to entertain, he loved to make people smile and laugh and he loved to love.”

There has been no indication at this time of what caused Wright’s passing .

The beloved actor worked with Disney portraying the animated character of Sebastian through sequels and television series as well as providing his voice within the movie Dinosaurs.
